Greenacres StudGreenacres Stud is based on the northern edge of Amberley township, just a half hour north of Christchurch Airport. We have 300 acres on which we run predominantly horses, following up with cattle and sheep.

The farm compromises a combination of silt loam and peat type soils giving a good balance of drier and wetter country to suits the seasons.  We harvest our own grain, balage and hay which keeps our costs down to pass on to clients.

All foaling paddocks are floodlit, along with the main yard, holding yards, round yards and stallion serving area. This has been invaluable for delivery of horses and foaling.
